All you need to know about MAPflow's new per-pharmacy subscription

We’re pleased to announce the launch of MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription! In response to your valued feedback, we now offer two subscriptions: MAPflow’s individual subscription and MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription.

What is MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription?

MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription supports an unlimited number of users at one pharmacy. This subscription is designed to save you costs, with one subscription for your entire team, instead of multiple individual subscriptions for each of your pharmacists. You can also use this subscription to offer your relief pharmacists a tool they can use while they work at your pharmacy. This option is designed for pharmacies and health teams with more than one user.

What is MAPflow’s individual subscription?‍

MAPflow’s individual subscription allows one pharmacist to use the MAPflow platform at multiple pharmacies. This is best for relief pharmacists who work at multiple pharmacies and pharmacies with only one pharmacist.

What’s included in MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription?

MAPflow’s per-pharmacy subscription offers you the same access to all of our province-specific minor ailment algorithms as the individual subscription. This subscription  includes MAPflow standard and MAPflow PRO, our unique filters that allow you to determine the level of detail and support for each assessment. This subscription also includes all of our integrations, saving you valuable time. There are also some special features and benefits that are ONLY available in the per-pharmacy subscription, including:

• The Patient-Led Follow-Up feature, and
• Role-Based Access

Can I switch from one subscription to the other and maintain all my data?

Yes, all of your records and data will transfer to your new subscription.

How do I get started with MAPflow's per-pharmacy subscription?

Purchase your per-pharmacy subscription for an existing pharmacy by going to the My Pharmacy tab => Billing

Your page will look like this:

or go to https://app.mapflow.ca/pharmacy/billing and select MAPflow's per-pharmacy subscription from the drop down menu:

Your selection will look like this and then follow the prompts to get started:

Once this is complete, make sure to go to your user profile and turn off the auto-renewal on your individual subscription https://app.mapflow.ca/billing. This should be done for all users of your pharmacy unless they want to keep their individual subscription active (relief pharmacists for instance or working in another store).

How do I add my team members to my per-pharmacy account?

After you have created your per-pharmacy subscription, you can invite your pharmacy's team to join your subscription from the My Pharmacy tab in the MAPflow platform. You will see an option on the My Pharmacy tab that looks like this:

Enter your team member's email and select <Invite>.  Please note: If your team member already has a MAPflow account, enter the same email address that they used to register in MAPflow. 

Your team members will be sent a verification email asking them to create an account. Team members need their own accounts for audit and logging purposes as well as printing their names on reports and prescriptions. They do not pay for this account. Once they have created the account and verified their email, they will be added to your pharmacy. 

Next, you must specify what role they are allowed to do. To do this, change their "Access" from "none" to clinician, technician, assistant or student. As a clinician, a pharmacist will be able to do everything in MAPflow. The other roles have more restricted access within MAPflow.

Please find pricing details for MAPflow's per-pharmacy subscription here. We offer discounts for OPA and other association members as well as loyalty pricing. If you purchased an individual subscription in the past 6 months, we can assist your transfer to a per-pharmacy subscription, please reach out to us at support@mapflow.ca.
