Pharmacists Manitoba is pleased to announce a new partnership with MAPflow, a pharmacist-designed clinical workflow platform that streamlines care for self-limiting conditions, over-the-counter (OTC) consultations, and chronic disease management. MAPflow will be available to all Pharmacists Manitoba members at exclusive discounted rates, ensuring Manitoba pharmacists have access to the same cutting-edge tool already transforming practice across the country.
"This partnership equips Manitoba pharmacists with a proven clinical platform that supports their expanding role in primary care," said Andrea Lear, Chief Executive Officer, Pharmacists Manitoba. "It enhances member value while also generating evidence we can use to advocate with government and payers for sustainable pharmacy practice."
MAPflow enhances pharmacists’ ability to deliver safe, efficient, and evidence-based patient care in everyday practice settings. Developed and continuously updated by a team of practicing pharmacists and educators, MAPflow integrates real-time decision support, compliant documentation, and just-in-time learning. The platform has demonstrated a 97.8% rate of symptom resolution or improvement on follow-up, helping pharmacists make confident, evidence-based decisions while reducing avoidable visits to overburdened emergency departments, walk-in clinics, and physicians’ offices.
Key benefits for Pharmacists Manitoba members include:
• Exclusive Member Pricing — Special subscription rates available only to association members.
• Education & Training — Customized MAPflow-led webinars and educational sessions tailored to Manitoba’s scope of practice.
• Insights for Advocacy — Biannual reports on anonymized, aggregated usage data to quantify the impact of pharmacist-led clinical services in Manitoba.
• White-Glove Onboarding & Support — End-to-end training, 24/7 support, and access to MAPflow Academy resources.
"We’re thrilled to partner with Pharmacists Manitoba to accelerate uptake of pharmacist prescribing for self-limiting conditions and to expand pharmacists’ role in OTC consultations and chronic disease management," said Nardine Nakhla, CEO & Co Founder of MAPflow. "Together we can strengthen patient access to care, support the profession’s advocacy with government, and deliver greater value to members."
This Manitoba launch builds on MAPflow’s successful association-led rollouts in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, where adoption targets were exceeded, and data generated through the platform bolstered advocacy efforts.
