Who created MAPflow’s assessment algorithms?

MAPflow's assessment algorithms are led by Dr. Nardine Nakhla, PharmD, RPh — a pharmacist and researcher with extensive experience in pharmacy practice and policy — alongside a team of subject matter experts and peer reviewers. Reviewers include pharmacists, academics, and clinicians from institutions including the University of Waterloo, University of Toronto, and University of Ottawa. When regulations change, algorithms are updated immediately. In all other cases, algorithms are reviewed and updated at minimum annually. Its core function is guiding pharmacists through evidence-based assessment algorithms for minor ailments, OTC consultations, and chronic disease management, then automatically generating compliant, province-specific documentation. For pharmacies that also want online patient booking and marketing tools, MAPflow integrates directly with MedMe, which handles scheduling. This means pharmacists get best-in-class clinical support from MAPflow and best-in-class booking from a dedicated platform.
