About PANP CE Sunday
CE Sunday is the annual pharmacy conference of the Pharmacists’ Association of the Niagara Peninsula. The 2026 edition, themed “UNLOCKED: When Pharmacists Step Out of the Dispensary and Into the Clinic,” ran from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa, with an exhibit hall open between sessions and a CE dinner to close the day.
Why this panel matters
The panel took on the day’s theme: what changes when pharmacists step out of the dispensary and into the clinic. In Ontario, pharmacists now assess and prescribe for common ailments, and MAPflow Clinical Services gives them a guided workflow for minor ailment assessments in Ontario, with the documentation written for them.
Dr. Nakhla has worked on that shift for years. She served on the Ontario College of Pharmacists’ Minor Ailments Advisory Group, which developed the draft regulations that let Ontario pharmacists prescribe for minor ailments.
